The Digital Offers tool includes the option to set up signing workflows for offer documents. This feature makes signing offer documents easy for candidates and company signers by surfacing all documents requiring a signature in one centralized location.
Our recommendation is to have a select number of signers - likely members of the leadership team (CEO, CFO, CPO) - who are privy to that level of information and serve as a signatory on behalf of the company.
Please note: Counter signers must have Senior Recruiter level access or higher. See our Roles and Permissions article for more details.
The Welcome platform can support various signing workflows based on your company’s needs, including:
- Only the candidate signs
- The candidate signs first, then the company signer
- The company signer signs first, then the candidate
Will a signer at my company need an account?
Yes. The individual at your company who needs to countersign offer documents will need a Welcome account.
How will the company signer know they have an offer to sign?
The company signer will receive an email when they need to sign an offer. Additionally, when the company signer logs into the Welcome dashboard, any offer that requires a signature will have a “Sign Offer” button. Once the counter signer hits the sign offer button they will be prompted with a high-level overview prior to signing.
Can I hard code a company signer for all offers?
Yes. We can hardcode one singular company signer for all offers. Or, alternatively, we can leave the company signer flexible, meaning you can select who should sign specific offers.
