How to Use Grant Templates

Welcome now supports the ability to create multiple equity templates! You can create different templates to easily populate grant information when creating an offer.

Who can create grant templates?

Welcome users with Admin access or higher have the ability to edit existing and create new grant templates. For more details on user permissions, please visit Roles and Permissions.

How to create a new equity template:

1. Log into Welcome
   
   
2. Navigate to Settings (gear icon, bottom left)
   
   
3. Total Compensation > Equity
   
   
4. Click “Add Grant Template” under “Grant Templates”
   
   
5. Add Grant Template information
   
   
6. Add Vesting Schedule
   
   
7. Click “Save” at the bottom of the card

How to apply an equity template to an offer:

1. Log into Welcome
   
   
2. Navigate to the offers tab
   
   
3. Click “New Offer”
   
   
4. Select an offer template and proceed to create the offer
   
   
5. Within the “Equity” tab click “Grant Template”
   
   
6. Select an equity template
   
   
   
7. “Save & Next” and continue to create your offer
